Hammer Delays Dracula to November After Printing Fault Found (10/07/2026)
Hammer Films has delayed its Dracula restoration to November 23, 2026 after final quality checks caught a printing fault in the physical release. They are reprinting the affected components rather than shipping below promised quality. The Warner Archive Collection US Horror of Dracula moves to November 24, 2026.

Horror of Dracula Rises Again With Long-Lost Footage in New 4K Restoration (09/04/2026)
Hammer Films has unveiled its definitive 4K restoration of the 1958 classic Dracula, known in the U.S. as Horror of Dracula. Restored with Silver Salt Restoration in partnership with Warner Bros., the new edition reinstates footage missing for more than six decades, including material previously seen only during the original Japanese theatrical release. The restoration arrives on 4K UHD and Blu-ray October 26.
Hammer Films and Warner Archive release Horror of Dracula on October 27, 2026 in a seven-disc Limited Collector's Edition, standard 4K UHD, and remastered Blu-ray. The Collector's Edition includes two 4K UHD discs and five Blu-ray discs with five versions of the film, including uncensored UK and US versions, theatrical versions, and an editor's workprint, plus a 200-page book, 60-page House of Hammer comic reprint, double-sided poster, eight replica lobby cards, commentaries, documentaries, archival features and additional bonus material. The film was restored in 4K by Hammer Films and Silver Salt Restoration in partnership with Warner Bros.
