**Format:** 4K UHD Collector's Edition (4 discs) **Release Date:** September 1, 2026 Severin Films brings Mario Bava's proto-slasher masterpiece to 4K UHD for the first time in a definitive 4-disc Collector's Edition. All three versions of the film — the English cut, the original Italian version, and the Italian re-release — have been scanned in 4K from superior vault elements. When a wealthy countess is murdered for her bayfront real estate, it triggers a systematic slaughter of ruthless developers, greedy heirs, and bad neighbors. Claudine Auger (Thunderball), Luigi Pistilli, and Laura Betti star in the film that redefined the giallo and birthed the slasher genre, featuring landmark gore effects by three-time Oscar winner Carlo Rambaldi and a score by Stelvio Cipriani. The set packs nearly five hours of new and archival special features plus a bonus soundtrack CD.
