George Ratliff's acclaimed 2001 documentary returns in a new 4K restoration on Blu-ray. Hell House goes inside a Texas evangelical church's elaborate Halloween-season "hell house" — a fire-and-brimstone haunted attraction designed to scare teenagers straight. Funny, unsettling, and endlessly fascinating, it's a time capsule of turn-of-the-millennium American religious culture.
