Synapse Films brings Douglas McKeown's 1983 sci-fi horror classic The Deadly Spawn to 4K Ultra HD November 10.

When a meteorite crashes into the New Jersey woods, a carnivorous alien takes refuge in a suburban basement — growing larger and spawning hundreds of toothy offspring. A horror-loving teenage boy and his friends are humanity's last hope.

The 4K features Synapse's new restoration from the original uncut 16mm camera negative in 1.37:1 with Dolby Vision, plus three audio commentaries and a John Dods featurette. A separate Blu-ray edition streets the same day.
