The Crawling - World Premiere at FilmQuest (October 23, 2026) (10/22/2026)

The Crawling, the debut feature from writer-director Christian Everhard, world premieres Friday, October 23, 2026 at 8 p.m. as a Friday Night Feature at the FilmQuest festival in Provo, Utah. A 59-second teaser is out now on Vimeo, via Snail Wolf Media. Will Brittain (Kong: Skull Island, Haunt) stars as Mike, a disgraced police officer who retreats to a remote farmhouse with his wife Emma (Katherine Hughes) and is assaulted by a cosmic entity, setting off a psychological and physical unraveling built around losing control of his own body. Robert Lewis Stephenson and Jeremy Koch also star. The film was written by Everhard, from a story by Everhard and Norman Meyers, and runs 83 minutes. Everhard has said the idea grew from a night in a secluded cabin, when an unexplained flash of light left him imagining an intrusion in which he stayed conscious but could not move. No distributor or wider release date has been announced.
